- The Fashion & Music Relation of 2022
The relationship between fashion and music has intertwined since the beginning. Whether you're in the industry or not people hear about your image before they even meet you. Having a strong and unique image can help musicians stand out among their peers. It creates a memorable creation for the stage, audience, music, etc. Then collaborations start to happen, like musicians co-signing labels in their songs, starting their clothing line, and signing branding deals is a huge influence on their fans. Rihanna, Kanye West, Beyonce, and Jayda Cheaves, all have a heavy influence and are the main streams, in today's trend. This isn't random, either! The reason why fashion and music became linked is that music became a method of showing political beliefs, ideas, individuality, and growth rather than just boring views. Also, we can observe that many people speak and also dress in the relation to how they feel and the music that corresponds to them. Finally, music can be an escape from reality and fashion can create a reality; both serve well in society. Fashion mirrors what our society thinks, and music mirrors what our society feels, both are timeless.
