The Benefits Of Drinking Turmeric
Turmeric cultivation is from India, and known for its daily curry mixtures in spicy dishes.
Lately ,turmeric has found itself in many drinks like the "Turmeric & Honey Hot Tea ". I even find myself drinking this herbal tea three times a week, if not more. Not only does this drink provides a healthy sugar intake , but manages to boosted the immune function by benefiting in anti-inflammatory properties, reducing arthritis symptoms, helps prevent and treat cancer, and also manages irritable bowel.
Simple Turmeric & Honey Tea Recipe
- 1/2 cup milk ( coconut or hemp) Optional
- 1 teaspoon of turmeric
-1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger
-1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- Dash of ground fresh black pepper & sea salt
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1/2 cup water
Note: Garnish with mint & Cinnamon Stick ( optional )
Combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan or tea cup. Bring to a simmer ( if using a microwave, heat tea into warm ) into a beautiful golden color, then immediately remove from heat. Strain the tea into a mug. Enjoy !
