It's never been easier to make a profit off of some of your closet, faves!

How many of you have apparel, filled to the top of your closet? With garments, accessories, and anything else that you do not wear. We were once those individuals, that is why we're giving you notice that it's now time to clean out your closet.

The first step is to have a clear mind, make two piles one for keeps the other for-profit... But make sure every item for sale is worthy to be worn. Yes, girl! You want your customers to come back next time, so if you wouldn't purchase the item don't sell them!

Also, just because you drop loads of moolah on items doesn't mean you sell for the same price, NO! Get rid of the item. As well as doing your research on certain items, to figure out price points, details, or sold buyers. Remember, you won't demand!

Okay, so now that you know what you are selling and have price points, let's set your store up. Here are your best sites for selling your fabulous unwanted clothing.

  1. Poshmark: Upload picture, set a price.

  2. Local consignment store: Walkin & speak to the manager

  3. eBay Sets a starting price, customers bid, send to domestic shopping center, and they will send the product.

  4. thredUP: You pay the site to accept your clothes and they keep track of all incoming clothing through a "Clean Out Kit".

  5. Facebook Marketplace: Create a public listing, for everyone to notice your page. Set a price and ship either online or in-person

  6. Friends & Family: Take a picture, send it to friends with a price. Word of mouth works.

Remember: Condition of items is key, price points, post great pictures, hashtag, track expenses, and stay in touch with clients.
